7 Horrible Mistakes You're Making With Necklaces
December 05 | By LVBT
The British bloggers we love right now Contemporary fashion wouldn't be the same without the blogging revolution that has taken place over the last few years. Blogging has given everyone the opportunity to write what they think about the designers they love, and has completely changed the way that fashion brands interact with their consumers. Whereas before fashion might have been a closely guarded industry, now anyone anywhere in the world can have their say, as long as they have an internet connection and a laptop, or even a mobile phone.
At LVBT, one of our favourite things about fashion blogging is seeing how each blogger's style is influenced by the amazing places they've visited around the world. Experiencing other cultures and countries can have a real impact on your style, and can define what you think fashion should be all about. That's why some of our favourite bloggers are those that document their jet-set lifestyle, and tell their readers how the places they've been have influenced what they wear and how they dress. So, here's a list of some of our favourite fashion bloggers, with a little explanation of why we love each of them so much at LVBT.
The London Chatter
Known for her unique, girl next door style, characterised by bright lipsticks and eclectic outfits, The London Chatter embodies everything we love about contemporary fashion blogging. Kelly’s style is influenced by both her childhood in East Africa, and her time spent treading the boards in theatres across the UK.
The combination of colour and textures is astounding, together with the detail and thought in all of her posts – all you want to do is read on and on and on. We just can’t get enough.
The Londoner
This might just be one of the most glamorous blogs there is. With her adventurous, jet set lifestyle and traditional yet elegant style, The Londoner is an aspirational read.
For us it’s Rosie’s combination of always on-trend style and effortless sophistication that make her outfit and style choices something to envy. Influenced by traditional colours, shapes, and designs, finished with elements she picks up wherever her travels take her.
Julia Lundin
This uber professional fashion blog combines chic looks with an edgy, street style. Her photojournalism background and penchant for travel means her blog is full of stunning shots from locations around the world.
While we’re always massively jealous of Julia’s travels, we’re totally in love with her natural beauty and how effortlessly this is captured in her stunning photographs.
My Sisters Wardrobe
This pair of sisters from Buckinghamshire were inspired to start blogging after they realised just how many outfits they owned between them! They're known for their on-trend outfit posts and contemporary style.
We salute the girls’ bold and brave style, which keeps them seriously on trend and up-to-date. Here’s to you Sophie & Emma for being the boldest bloggers on our list!
The Stylist and The Wardrobe
This diverse blog features posts about every aspect of Joanne Hegarty’s life, covering everything from her great outfit choices to her inspirational tales of motherhood. It’s the relaxed and effortless style, with neutral colours and great detailing that we enjoy the most, not-to-mention the ever-so sophisticated feel that ensures every outfit is right on point.
Temporary Secretary
Drawing on her background as a jewellery designer, Sarah (AKA Temporary Secretary) creates outfits with a great eye for detail, and the combination of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle posts make her blog a very interesting and varied read.
With a background as a jewellery designer we can really relate to this girl, her eye for detail is beautifully portrayed in her images and her open and honest blogs make ensure we go back time and time again.
BiBi Goes Chic
BiBi's blog showcases her two main loves: travel and fashion. She uses her multi-national background - she's part French, part American, and part Italian, and has lived in Paris and London - to create looks and outfits that are both inspirational and totally unique.
Bibi’s ability to carry off any look is phenomenal and her unique and fashion forward style, paired with her ability to get it right every time are a winning combination.
To Work or Play
TWOP (To Work or Play), is run by three London socialites who also work in the world of advertising. With content divided up into 'Work' and 'Play', you can choose what to read depending on how you're feeling. Part lifestyle and fashion, and part guide to living, TWOP has something for everyone.
The power of three is a winning combination, giving something for everyone all the time. What’s best about TWOP is the balance between getting down to business and having fun, which makes the blog something easy to relate to and super helpful for all those London based.
Hello October
For those interested in a simplistic style Hello October is the ideal blog. Suzie’s outfits are chic, effortless, and understated, and she often posts about her real life experiences without using a filter, so you get to know what it's really like to be in her shoes.
No one combines simplicity with on-trend styles and everyday life better than Suzie. It is real life, done beautifully well.
What Olivia Did
Famous for her quirky Instagram feed as well as her blog, Olivia (or Liv) delights us (and the rest of her followers) with posts across a range of subjects, covering fashion, travel, food, and style. She is also well known for her recipes, which like her fashion, are inspired by her many trips around the world.
The only problem with what Olivia did…We’re not sure what’s more delicious; her inspirational posts and the photography, that are seriously on-point, or the endless streams of incredible recipes.
